<p>An upcoming Discovery Channel special, “The Year the Earth Went Wild,” will discuss the apparent recent increase in earthquake and violent weather activity. David Baker of the Austin College physics faculty will be among those offering some answers.</p>

<p>The program tentatively is scheduled for broadcast at the following times:</p>
