Well to solve this, you need to use the right hand rule. Point the thumb in the direction of the velocity (which is to the right which is +x direction) then extend your fingers in the direction of the field (which is North to South which is -y direction) and the force will be the direction the palm is facing (which is perpendicular to the page which is -z direction). Hope that made sense, google the right hand rule for more clarity.
is it possible to use fleming’s left/right hand rule to get the answer? If so can you explain it using that since i fell much easier using it :-*

@ChemNerd123 Im not really familiar with that rule, but from what I googled, the thumb would be the direction of the velocity (which is to the right which is +x direction), the index finger would point in the direction of the field (which is North to South which is -y direction) and the middle finger would be the direction of the force that is perpendicular to both your thumb and index finger (which is into the page which is -z direction). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleming%27s_right-hand_rule
