So I'm a senior. I'm taking Physics AP B, which is the hardest possible class available at my school. It used to be taught by someone with a PhD with over 30 years teaching-he was one of the best teachers I've ever had. This year however, he finally retired. Now we have a new teacher who's never taught nor even taken AP physics. Now don't get me wrong, she's a nice lady, but I get the feeling she isn't prepared to teach this class. 10 people dropped it within 3 days, so I'm not the only one. A classmate and I have corrected her at least half a dozen times on basic algebra every day. I've stopped taking notes because of how confusing her thought process is- I'd rather teach myself. She's also a track coach, so she's busy before school and after school everyday, so I can't get extra help. I didn't come up her to just blast her, I have a couple questions. Physics is so important to an engineering major like me. Should I continue taking physics in high school? Also, what can I do if I need help? Google it? What do you guys recommend.

Get some classmates and talk/write to the principal?
