Physics-Houston, we have a problem.

My physics teacher is so inexperienced it's driving me crazy. College level physics in high school. Honestly, I feel more suited to run the class, because I've taken calculus and she hasn't! What kind of a joke is this? This is literally the hardest class at my school, and my school hired someone in her first year without a clue what physics is. I'm ranting here, I'm sorry, but I'm spending three hours a day self studying because she is confusing more than teaching! What do I do?? She doesn't let us use formulas on any tests or quizzes, and she doesn't even give us them in notes or homework. Further more, I can't take notes from her because her handwriting is completely illegible. And when I do take notes, she confuses me even more because she doesn't know what she's teaching!!!

I'm ranting, I know. Is there anything I can do short of dropping the class?

Self study it on your own - find videos like KhanAcademy that discuss Physics and spend an hour to two hours a day watching them. practicing problems, etc. My school had a horrendous Chemistry teacher (who was fired after her first year) - and she could not teach Chemistry if her life depended on it. However, I knew of a few kids that took the initiative to self study it on their own through Youtube videos and ended up doing really well in the class.

Were on chapter one. Today she gave a test over chapter four. I can’t even…
I’m going to get students to complain to the school
