Piano performance majors anyone?

<p>Hello! I am an upcoming junior and I am recently interested in applying to Juilliard as part of the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange. I was discouraged from applying to a music school by my mother who majored in piano performance, saying the audition and attending music school itself is too stressful. However, I really couldn't do college without piano. </p>

<p>Does anyone on CC know anybody who was accepted to Juilliard with a piano major? Or even better- has anyone on here auditioned/got accepted? If so, what was your repertoire? And this is very vague, but how good are you?</p>

<p>I sorry, but i think the amount of Juilliard students here is very small… However, I encourage you to follow a music career if that’s what your heart mourns :)</p>
