Pick two: sleep, grades, social life.

I honestly get all 3… valedictorian, have an amazing girlfriend and two sets of friends I hang out each weekend, and sleep 9+ hours a night!

Okay, so I can pick two?

I’ll allocate .75 to grades, .5 to sleep, and .75 to social life.

Grades and social life, I can sleep when I’m dead.

Grade and sleep. You can’t maintain anything without sleep.

Grades and Social life. Haven’t slept more than 4 hours for MONTHS now. You get used to it.

I always thought it was a well known fact that this “pick two” thing was just an excuse for stupid people to justify not doing anything.

“Because if I do my homework, I’ll never get enough sleep, mom. Unless you want me to have no social life…”

I’ve seen it all before.

Sleep has always come before all else for me. Then sorta grades but only if it doesn’t stress me out to the point where my sleep starts getting affected. I’ve always been introverted, so social life isn’t much of a problem.

Dfree took the words right out of my mouth…

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC

Wiscongene: It’s for stupid people who don’t do anything? This is just a question/survey. How does your statement even begin to make sense?

Grades then social life

Grades and social life, hands down. Sleep is for the weak!

Grades and social life. I’ve picked those for the past three years, and things are going pretty well.

It’s been scientifically proven that sleep is a myth.

1 Sleep
.7 Grades
.3 Social Life

This breakdown actually makes the total increase. People don’t realize how much of an impact sleep deprivation has on their faculties. It’s like expanding the production possibilities curve when you add more sleep.

Grades for sure…but social life ain’t gonna happen unless I can get some sleep. SO…i don’t know :)

Funny, I’ve never heard this one, but I hear the “Sports, Grades, Social Life, pick two” one quite often. So, being an athlete, if you include sleep, I’ve managed to balance all four. Study smarter, not longer folks  And get off CC!

Get How to be a straight A student by Cal Newport to balance all three aspects social life, academics and sleep! I promise you it’s a life saver!

Grades and Sleep, but really I waste so many hours everyday. I could be out like 3 hours a day with friends and function the same if I wanted (and my mom let me)

I’m not sure how well I’d function without the social life part…coffee takes care of the no sleep issue

Def grades and social life. “work hard, play hard” is probably the quote that describes my life these days. I work my butt of during the week and cry over B+s and often A-s, then go to a bunch of social events on the weekends. And get about 4 hours if sleep a night. Story of my life these days for the most part.
