So I know for sure my top two are Merrill and Kresge, and from what I’ve heard the two are somewhat different, so I’d really appreciate some input as to what the people are like, what sorts of things go on all week, and so on. Music scene is especially important.
Also, just in general, I’d like to know what college would suit me the best (doesn’t have to be the above two): I’m a hippie-type who’s pretty mellow and low-key; I love meeting new people and getting to know them, but after a lot of socializing I feel drained, so I’d prefer someplace where I can have privacy if I need it; I LOVE music and playing guitar, and it would be sweet if I could live somewhere where the other people are into my kind of music (like folk, indie, lo-fi, etc.); my friends weren’t into drugs, so I never really had an opportunity to experiment (except with vaping, which was…kind of weird), but I’d like to do so during college - so preferably I’d like to live somewhere where I can experiment without feeling too much pressure; and I’d like to be around people who are open-minded and generally friendly, warm, and down-to-earth - I’ve been going to school with a lot of preppy, pretentious people for the last few years and while they can be nice, it’s definitely worn on me, haha.
So yeah, if you need me to clarify anything I’d be happy to. Any input is appreciated
Oh, also looking at College 10 because I love the setup and the spoken-word cafe thing they have going on. If anyone has something to say about it, that’d be cool.
