I'm interested in a few of different fields: Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science. What do you think is the best way to pick one? Just jump in to some classes? Are there any good books that serve as introductions to any of these fields and their huge groups of subfields? For example, I had to read the book "Naked Economics" for my AP Econ class this year, and it made me really interested in the field. Are there similar books for the other topics, espeically social sciences?

What are you interested in doing?
What is your passion?
If you could do one thing to make the world a better place, what would it be?

When you have a lot of interests, I think you should try and incorporate as many of them as possible into what you do. Be creative and then major in something that would seem to prepare you for it, and don't let salary be a factor!

I'd try all the intro or higher classes taking anything that interests you. Read books in all the subjects and talk to people who have done the major to find out what its like. You can always double major or minor in things.
