Picture Question

I just got the "coming days" status and my picture stayed University Park. I am very anxious and excited to see my decision as I applied in October. Has anyone been rejected or accepted to a branch campus, even though your picture remained University Park?

I had the same thing. I applied in early November and I finally got the incoming days status and my picture stayed UP. I guess we can only hope for the best at this point haha

I haven’t heard of anyone who had the UP picture the entire time get rejected. However there have been cases where it’s been the UP picture for a few days, than switched to the picture of the lion or another campus. So don’t use it as a tell all, but good luck! I’m really hoping you both get in!

My D just received her package in the mail yesterday. She was excited that her picture stayed UP, but her letter stated that she was accepted to the Altoona campus. She was a little disappointed but she is still going to accept Altoona with the 2 + 2 program.

That seems rare that your daughter would get the branch when the pic stayed up, but i’ve found that 90% of the time the pic has been accurate. Sorry about that  But good luck to all who are applying, and my pic stayed up (whole time) and I got in, so hopefully it’s the same for you!

My picture stayed with the University Park one when I got the coming days status and hasn’t changed. Today I got my acceptance letter to Penn State Altoona, which was my second choice of campus. I’m pretty upset that I didn’t get into University Park, but am still thankfull for being accepted to a branch campus. It was such a bummer :/

@dancer87 I’m sorry! You could always call and ask if it’s possible you could do a summer session at University Park instead of going to a branch, best of luck!

@sop520 That is always a possibility! I actually did send an email today asking if summer session was still an option. I’m willing to work hard all summer to be able to start at University Park!

Yay! Really hope you get in for summer, fingers crossed for you!

my picture stayed Upark the whole time and i received my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday
