Pictures of Lincoln Center dorms

One of the things I dislike the most about the Fordham web site is their lack of LC dorm pictures. Sure, there are some, but they are crude and small. I had the opportunity to stay at LC's dorms for two nights while on the Experience Fordham program, so I tried to take some pictures.

I could not take any pictures of rooms because people were in them, but basically you either have three bedrooms with one bed in each and one bathroom for all three OR three bedrooms with two beds in each and two bathrooms for all. There have been times when there's more people than that per apartment, but it's rare.

Feel free to ask me any questions about LC; hopefully I can answer them.

You might get 7 in a three bedroom apt. One triple and two doubles. Freshman year only.

@Lefty: True. We all roomed with upperclassmen so they were not so sure. But they did say 7 was common and that sometimes it can go up to 8.

It should remind you of a New York Apartment, it kind of looks like one. (Living in the Bronx for 17 years I think I know my apartments by now!)

You will fill out a housing survey in June re your preferences. Freshman apartment choices are either a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment or a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and you should absolutely expect that at least one bedroom will be a triple no matter which you choose.

Freshman do not get single rooms…it’s either a double or a triple. Triples are almost $4k cheaper so they look for people who want to be tripled first but forced triples are very common and at LC if you are in a triple, you will probably stay tripled for the year.
