Pitt Engineering Chances (will chance back)

Hey guys. So I was accepted into the University of Pittsburgh in December but I changed my mind on my major, so I am attempting to switch from the school of business administration to the school of engineering. What do you think my chances look like?

~3.70 UW GPA
~3.80-3.95 W GPA (not sure how my senior year grades have affected these GPAs)
1930 SAT (670 M 630 CR 630 W) or 1300 CR/M
AP Classes taken: European History (AP Exam taken), Chemistry (currently enrolled), US Government/Politics (currently enrolled)
CHS Classes (through Pitt): Physics (currently enrolled with an A- average)
Honors Classes taken: English 9, English 10, English 11, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, US History (Civil War-WW2), World History
Electives: French 2 and 3, Pre-Engineering, Engineering, Technical Drawing
National Honors Society Member since 10th grade
Many clubs such as Robotics, Philosophy and World Cultures
Volunteer and Extracurricular activities: Cub Scout Asst. Den Leader, Baseball Asst. Coach, Inline Hockey, Football Clock operator, concession worker for the marching band competitions, employee at sheetz, umpire, airport ambassador for Pittsburgh International Airport. Probably about 200 hours total for my volunteering.
One letter of recommendation from Pennsylvania State Senator Matt Smith

Thanks for any help you guys can give

I’d say your chances to getting in at between 60% to 75%. The reason for this is because college classify students who have a GPA greater than 3.75 in the highest classification. Your GPA will get you into the second highest classification so that means that the university will take into account other facts such as extracurriculars and SAT more meticulously. Over 75% of the people that apply to University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering have a GPA above a 3.75 and an SAT of 1950 but since you seem like a strong and dedicated applicant, you may have a decent shot.
