Is Pitt or Schreyer’s better for pre med? For me Schreyer’s will be 9k ish more expensive per year than Pitt. Thanks!
Given that Pitt’s cheaper and people always claim it’s better for healthcare subjects, I’d go there.
Would you know what would make Schreyer’s worth attending say if I were to go there for pre med in terms of academics and opportunities?

See post #3 for a comparison.
If PSU were cheaper, maybe that would be an incentive to go there. You’d certainly get a good education and Schreyer has lots of opportunities. But if Pitt’s cheaper and has the advantages listed in the link above…unless you really hate the campus (I did, which is why I ended up at Penn State) then Pitt seems like a clear winner to me.
At Pitt, there are a lot of professors who collaborate with the medical school so you can find medically relevant research projects should that interest you. Penn State’s medical school is in Hershey so it’s not as convenient to collaborate.
definitely pitt, pitt is well-known in its health sciences and med school.
