Pitt Merit Aid!!

My DD got a scholarship giving her in-state tuition + some extra at South Carolina with similar stats, which gets the cost under $20K (not including travel which can be expensive). To get more will require much higher stats and is very competitive. Scholarships at SC are not automatically awarded like those at UA though.

She got substantial awards at both Clemson and College of Charleston, but neither was enough to cover the OOS premium.

Why ask a bunch of strangers on the internet rather than looking in the financial aid section of Pitt’s own site, where the answer lies?
UPitt : Admissions : Undergraduate : Financial Aid : Types : Scholarships : University Academic Scholarship

A long time ago (2005),my OOS S1 got merit schlarships at at USC that brought the cost down to instate prices. His SAT was 1400.

If you mean South Carolina, that may still be the case or close to it. That’s about equivalent to an ACT 32.

Notrichenough…what were your D’s stats? The OP needs something to compare to.

Is there a chance that any of these schools would offer in state tuiton with my stats?

Sent from my HTC One X using CC

They were close to the OP’s - 1330 SAT (M+CR), 29 ACT, 4.3 weighted GPA.

You can see all of the OOS scholarships and the average stats here:

SC gives out a lot of them, but as I said they are not guaranteed.
