<p>My D is trying to decide between Pitt and UMASS Amherst to attend as a freshman next year. She likes both schools and plans on double majoring in Theater Arts and English. She will focus on performance within Theater Arts. We are Massachusetts residents so UMASS is cheaper -- but she has some interest in going away to a different city and was impressed with Pittsburgh. Based on the academic reputation of both the Theater and English programs at both schools where would you recommend?</p>
