I’m feel very happy to be able to make this collage decision, but I also feel nervous about my future career.
I came from NJ and I have two main options to select right now, because some of the universities that I applied have not release their decision yet. Unfortunately, those are my reach schools.
Pitt does well in medical field which I am interested, but I am not 100% certain that I want to be a doctor. I am afraid that I cannot make to the medical school. PSU is great in engineering field, but I never got in touched with field of engineering.
I have no worries about tuitions or other factors.
Pitt’s Bioengineering is very highly regarded too. Pick which one you like better. PSU is rural. Pitt is urban.
Were you admitted to both of those schools?
Medical school is expensive… would it be better to attend a NJ public and save money for medical school?

Are you a U.S.citizen or permanent resident. I ask because your posts sounds like English is not your first language.
And you are certain your parents can pay the out of state costs for these Pennsylvania public universities?
If so…pick one. If you want to live in a city, pick Pitt. If you want to live in a more rural area of the state, pick Penn State.

Are you interested in Biomedical Engineering? It’s probably the most competitive major so it means you’re a very strong student, congratulations.
What major were you admitted to at Pitt?
Premed is just an intention, not a major, and most freshmen who think they might want to be doctors find other subjects of interest or don’t get into med school, so it’s essential you have a strong major.
Were you admitted to the Honors College at either university?
There’s no bad decision:
Pitt has an urban campus. You’ll be in a major city, surrounded by hospitals (and shiny high rises).
Penn State is in a college town: everything in town is geared toward college students.
My preference goes toward college towns, because the best time to live there is when you’re in college, and you can live in big cities at any point in your life (and likely will). However I understand that cities such as Pittburgh can be terrific too, especially if you like urban environments.
