I already applied to Pitt in late August via the Common app. When I submitted my app, I never got an email to complete the SRAR. I called and when they were looking up my application name, the lady on the phone said she did not see my application and so I told her I applied using the common app and she said “oh, okay” and said I have to go on Pitt’s website to fill it out. I filled it out and linked it to my common app but never got an email that gave me the link and password to check on the status of my application. I emailed them with this concern and never got an email back. Should I be concerned that my application did not go through especially since they originally could not find it and I never got the email to check on the status?
Did you email the general admissions email address or your specific application processor? There’s a link in the admissions website to figure that out (the processor’s email). My D had a slight issue with the SRAR linking - apparently, it had to be filled out from a special url in order to be submitted to Pitt.
You can find the contact information for your Admissions Processor here: https://oafa.pitt.edu/processors/
They will be happy to help you troubleshoot!

A Pitt Admissions Staffer
