PITT vs. UCLA vs. UC Davis

Interested in theater and humanities. Psychology, Literature, History, Education - maybe film production (more than film studies). A couple of notes - Pitt is full tuition scholarship with honors. Davis is Regents Scholarship + others total $14K (first years tuition). UCLA has no "extras". UCLA would be a theater minor as did not apply to the Major. Other 2 are theater major. Please chime in with your thoughts on this decision. Thanks.

Depends on what state you live in now. These schools are very far away from each other so, your transportation cost might get insanely high. You already know about UCLA’s prestige and everything. I think Pitt and Davis are on the same level. Post the Cost Of Attendance including the transportation cost for all of them. Choose wisely.

Considering all things being equal, cost, etc…

UCLA for anything involving film out of this group.

UC Davis is an Ag school, and a very good one with very impressive agricultural facilities. But, I don’t know anything about the rest of their programs…not that they may not be good, but you simply don’t here much about anything but the ag stuff. It is really out in the middle of nowhere between San Fran and Sacramento, so your experience there would be very different than the urban schools of UCLA or Pitt.

For the rest of the humanities you are interested, it really doesn’t make much of a difference which school, IMO. You could let it come down to cost, location, and setting preferences. If you really want to major in theater, and you can’t do it at UCLA, then you probably should choose between Pitt and Davis.

@XtremePower Live in San Diego and UCSD but we great, and I got in, but I’d like a college experience at a new locations :-).
