Hey, I sent my enrollment fee (around mid Jan) and am officially going to be attending Pitt in the fall. I was just curious how long it will be until I get my Pitt start program, housing etc. information. Should I call on Monday to make sure everything is going okay?

We attended the admitted students day today and a question came up about PittStart. An admissions official said they are still finalizing the dates and agenda for PittStart but the information should be out soon. I don’t recall hearing anything about when housing will be opened up.

Same as you, submitted my enrollment deposit mid January and have not heard anything. Initially, I called OAFA to submit my deposit (online services wasn’t working…) The lady on the phone told me I would receive an email to my pitt account shortly regarding housing (survey, terms, deposits, etc) I never received anything and after about 3 weeks I called OAFA and they said housing packets would go out early-mid March via mail. With that being said, I would wait and if you don’t see anything in the mail box by mid March I would give them a call. If you look at AwesomeOpposum’s thread (rising pitt senior-ask me anything) someone posted last years PittStart dates in the 39th or 40th page… They were running from May into August and probably had 15 or more 2 day events that you could choose from.

Awesome, thanks guys!
