WAITLISTED and very surprised. I didn’t complete application or have mid-year report submitted as I had concluded I I wouldn’t get in! 3.7 UW 1950 SAT. 3 APs. I’m declining the wait list and will go to UCLA. Best of luck to those of you waiting!
Accepted!
Profile:
4.06 GPA
29 ACT
I was also accepted to Oxy, Whitman, Kenyon and waitlisted to Carleton and Vassar. I’m so excited!
Does anyone know how many Trustee Community Scholarships they give? Trying to figure out if this is a true honor or an incentive commonly given to increase their yield. Thanks!
Did anyone else get an email about the Pitzer Diversity Program?
I have an EFC of “0” and the only college to offer me worse financial aid was Scripps! Pitzer offered 25% less in grants than Brown or Barnard. Appalled. Here’s one place for the wait listers!
12.9% is fine but doesn’t actually tell you that much. Anyone know why? (This was actually a question from University of Chicago’s statistics exam).
excanuck99, puzzled–sounds like you were admitted off off the wait list, but in an earlier post you wrote that you’d turned down the Pitzer wait list to go to UCLA. It also appears you’ve got generous aid offers from Barnard, Columbia and UChicago, among others. Did you ask the Pitzer (or Scripps, for that matter) FA folks if they could meet these other offers?
