Places to stay in wine country?

Can anyone recommend a small inn or B&B outside Walla Wall? Hoping to spend a few days in a nice setting while we see a few of the wineries.

Thanks!

Hi Sunmachine, I hope all is well. I’ve never stayed in an inn or B&B outside of Walla Walla, but I found lots of great houses in the outlying areas available for short term rental through VRBO and airbnb. If there are just 2 of you, it may not be cost effective for a whole house, but there are really nice condos also listed.

BTW, we wanted something for graduation that would fit all the relatives, be homey and within walking distance of campus, I sure wish I’d found this option sooner, there are some REALLY great places listed! If you plan on going for graduation (next year?), have family coming and want to be near campus, I’d recommend booking through VRBO (<a href=“Walla Walla Vacation Rentals, Washington: house rentals & more | Vrbo”>http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/washington/wa-south-central/walla-walla</a>) or airbnb (http://www.airbnb.com) in June before senior year. I started looking in August for S’s graduation last May and a whole lot of places had already been booked, we were lucky to find the condo we did. It was really nice but hubby had to sleep on the couch.
