just got kicked out of the engineering lab I was in by a campus cop. In a different room at another location but it's not as nice. Where are good places to study on campus between 11PM-6AM?

Hm, is that the Engineering Gateway lab? It’s generally open 24 hours, but I guess you got hit by cleaning (2-4am Tuesdays).

I don’t know where else you’d go other than the community centers of the apartments - like VDC, Norte, Camino. But their visitor parking costs/is too short.

I’m currently in gateway. There is minimal air conditioning and the environment isn’t as I’d prefer. I’d been in another building which generally closes at 10. The trick is to have at least one person in there at 9:59 to then let you and others in…

Engineering Gateway is the only building open 24 hours, I think. Langson Gateway is the only other alternative, but they’re closed from 3 AM to 10 AM. Neither of those places have appealing environments, though. Grrrrr. Just sit in your car and study, haha.

There used to be a room in AIRB, but I heard they shut it down. They said they would replace the room with another somewhere else on campus so check on that. AIRB used to be where the engineers lived…

the classrooms are always open i like the ones in sspa the best also if you go into the freshman housing like middle or mesa i know they have 24 hour study rooms…at least i know middle earth at two. hope this helps

■■■■■, your dorm? / apartment?

^^^Studying on campus can be less distracting than studying at home. For me, my roommate and my dogs (among other things) mean my focus is better when I study on campus. I imagine other people can be similarly distracted in their dorms/ apartments.

As such, I’ve been following this thread with interest, and am curious if there are any other confirmed early AM study locations to be found.

Gateway is currently open 24 hours.
