<p>I had an English Essay that I regretfully plagiarized on the last week of school and might of gotten an in school suspension, and feel like my chances of a good college are over. I feel really guilty and awful about my stupid mistake (PS Not trying to get into IVY leagues or anything) and was wondering if colleges will look into my record. Will there be a way to redeem myself?</p>

<p>Ouch, sorry to say but plagiarism is a huge deal to most colleges. You could do as illusyve said or you could go to a CC and transfer to a 4-year if that doesn’t work.</p>
<p>It is an issue, especially because it was junior year so saying that you learned from it/have since improved while valid is not the same as if it had happened earlier in high school. As said before colleges really are not a plagiarism fan… What colleges were you looking at specifically?</p>
<p>VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) and GMU (George Mason University) Nothing high like a tech college or anything.</p>
