Plan for taking APs, SAT Is and IIs

Hey everyone,

I'm currently a sophomore in high school. Here's the schedule for the tests:

Sophomore:
May: AP Chem (taking honors CHem, our school doesn't offer AP)
AP psychology (self studying)
June: SAT II Chem

Junior:
APril: SAT I
May:AP Stats
AP BIo
AP Calc AB (self studying it when taking Precalc)
SAT II MAth IIC
SAT II Bio
June: SAT I
I haven't plan that far for senior yet, I'm planning to take SAT II in october if I didn't do it well in June. Is the schedule fine?
ALso, do you guys think self studying AP macro/micro econ would be too stressful? Is preparing both of them at the same time easier (I mean is it like preparing for 1 and a half subject?)
I'm an international student from Taiwan, would if help if I take the AP Chinese next year or will it just be a waste of time like SAT II CHinese?
(I'm definitely gonna have the awards that require 5 APs, but if I add macro+micro econ and Chinese, I'll be able to get national AP scholar)

THanks to whoever replies.

Take Jan SAT I- IMO, It's the easiest...

any comments?

Why don't you take SAT II Chem in May? Since you're taking the AP exam, it'd be nice to just finish it up in a week's time (the information would still be fresh in your mind).

At my kids' HS, they recommend taking the SATI in March of Junior year & ACT sometime in spring of junior year. That way, you have time to decide whether to retake one or both.

I agree that it may be worthwhile considering taking the SATII the same month you take the AP in the same subjects. Son thinks it would have helped him on his SATII instead of waiting until June (classes ended after the May APs).

Don't know about taking the AP Calc for AB self study--is that what your school recommends? I believe it's a pretty tough exam.

thanks for the replies.

Well, I'm now taking honors Chem, the AP is self studied...
I'll take honors precalc, and I want to show college my strength in math, so I plan to self study AP calc AB. Besides, I could also easily skip to Calc BC in senior year.

annn, do you know for fact that Jan SAT I is easy?

Anyone got anymore advices or opinions?
