Planning a college visit trip

So I'm heading over to Washington DC this summer and I was wondering what are some colleges I should be checking out. I'm looking for a university with a strong biological sciences department. So far I'm definately checking out Hopkins but otherwise i got nothing...so some help please? :-)

if this is your only chance to visit then you should do it, but keep in mind that it is the students that make a college, not the pretty grounds and expensive buildings. If the kids are snooty or unfriendly then your experience as a student will be markedly different from a school with the opposite kind of kids. And these are things its far easier to judge when school is in session than during a summer visit; for schools you are really serious about and have a decent probability of acceptance at (which realistically means the "admit weekend" in the case of ivies and similar) do an overnite visit since it is even better than the tour and talking to a few kids.

bleh I toured hopkins in the spring because I was kind of interested in medicine back then, and our tour guide didn't know anything.. but best of luck to you ;)

Georgetown,George Washington,American, U of Maryland, George Mason,Catholic University...that's pretty much it.
