Of course it's possible, but that doesn't mean to say it's easy. You can get an employer-sponsored green-card, which requires at least three years for processing, or you can get married (in the sense defined by the Defense of Marriage Act) to an American citizen.
Don't think that far ahead for the moment, your main goal is getting that NON-immigrant visa. Any manifest immigrant intent that the consular officer is aware of would normally disqualify you from receving the F1.</p>
