Playboy ranks UGA as #8 on Top Ten Party School list

I was kind of shocked…out of all the schools I applied to, I thought University of Miami was the “party school.” I know UGA has football, but hardcore partying?

Here’s the list, if anyone’s curious:

Wisconsin

UC Santa Barbara

Arizona State

Indiana

San Diego State

Florida State

Ohio

Georgia

Tennessee

McGill

Description: University of Georgia - The country’s preeminent college music scene emanates from the dozens of clubs within a one-mile radius of this school’s campus. From the 40 Watt Club (which helped launch Athens-born band R.E.M.) to the Georgia Theatre (which serves as the backdrop fro John Mayer’s “No Such Thing” video) to Tasty World (the coolest club on Broad Street), no school howls louder than Georgia when the sun sets. UGA is also famous for its football, its bar scene and its beautiful women. “Even when they wear their pajamas to class, they’re still hot,” one student tells us.

There’s also a pictorial of three UGA girls, but I obviously can’t copy that here.

thats right... reading playboy for the college rankings...

lol...I don't get how people are still shocked when they hear that UGA is a party school...c'mon now...

This is funny that someone did NOT know about UGA partying. In fact, that rating has GONE DOWN from past years! I have tons of friends there and it is crazy on weekends (especially during football season).

It's a state school, of course there will be parties.......but #8 in North America? I had no idea UGA had that kind of reputation.

yeah for the longest time UGA was a top 3 party school.
