Hi

I was just wondering if it was possible for me to join another college's sport team and play for their school if mine doesn't already have an established one/there's a lack of interest.

Thanks

Isn’t that something you should email the coach about?

Or just go to a school that has a team, or a club team, if the sport is that important to you. Or join a community team; you are not restricted from joining the community outside of college.

I believe that you have to be a student at the school to do sports unless it’s like a club or something.

You might be able to if schools are in a consortium (eg, Claremont or the 5 college consortium in Mass.). But I would think the logistics would be daunting to get to another campus for practice, etc. Much more likely to be allowed for a club sport, I assume. However, there could be liability issues for the college allowing a non-student to play.
