I am aware that Yale requires undergrads to complete more courses than most any other university. I don't recall the exact amount, but I believe that is something like an extra course for 2 semesters out of the 8 at Yale.
I am extremely interested in playing sports at Yale, if accepted.
Can some grads/current students tell me how difficult these extra courses are to fit in? Is it as simple as putting them in on the off-season? Or is there basis for concern? BTW I am interested in football and track, so that's really all year round. with Indoor/Outdoor Track.

All three of my roommates were athletes. If you're smart enough to get into Yale, the extra courses should be no sweat. Yes, you can take fewer courses during your season, but seriously, it's not that big of a deal. I know a number of athletes who took more classes than required for graduation because they loved learning and couldn't get enough of the great classes and professors.

That's what I heard, "you'll have more trouble narrowing down what classes you want to take than filling the requirements" Sounds good thanks!
