Please calculate my chances of getting into Hopkins/Cornell Engineering

<p>I apologize, but I'd appreciate it if someone would take the time to look at my chances of getting in to Cornell Engineering and/or Hopkins.</p>

<p>Academic:
I have a 4.0 GPA (95.34 out of 100.) I think that's the right conversion?
Class Rank: Unranked. I'd guess in the top 10 though.
For the SAT: Reading 800, Math 760, Writing 780
Subject tests: Physics 780, Math II 780, Chemistry 770.
ACT: N/A
AP Scores: U.S. History 5, English Language 4, Physics 5.
Current Classes: AP English Literature, AP Euro History, AP Chemistry, BC Calculus, a host of religious subjects.</p>

<p>Honors:
National Merit Finalist
AP Scholar
Published 2+ times on the NCBI Database (for sequencing genes.)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>Soccer: 9, 10, 11.</p>

<p>Volunteering:</p>

<p>Visiting Old Age Homes: 9, 10, 12.
Working at a soup kitchen: 10, 11.
Helping out at a graveyard: 11.</p>

<p>Camp Counselor in 10th grade.</p>

School: Private
Will be applying for financial aid
Good writer, subjectively good common app essay, good Cornell/Hopkins Essays</p>

<p>I've already been accepted to Rutgers, I'm waiting on Maryland.
No clue about possible merit scholarships, as they come out later in the school year.</p>

<p>You have a strong chance at both, especially since you’ve been published. Remember that Cornell and Hopkins are super competitive though so it could still go either way. I think you’ll probably get in to one or both though.</p>
