<p>No one has mentioned that your ECs are weak for the top schools on your list.
The charity can’t overcome that, in and of itself. It’s a good thing, but plenty of kids start charities and raise funds. Yes, it may be (I am “this short” of saying will be) assumed you had family support in ideas and concepts, marketing strategy, initial introductions, negotiating, arranging facilities and the legalities of a true charitable organization. All that, beyond what your uncle did to start it. (Not to mention a possible assumption that some donors felt your father’s success legitimized this project.) The actual impact of the charity also matters- international/send the check? Or local and you’ve also organized hands-on support for patients or the institution? Sorry. Is there more you can add?</p>
