Started Red Cross Club-President

Gathered over 10,000 dollars from going around my community gathering donations for underprivileged children

Football Varsity since I was a sophomore, and it is one of the top HS football teams in the nation, also one of the reasons I slacked off Freshmen and sophomore year was because I tore 2 ligaments (ACL,Meniscus) and had therapy and schoolwork.

I know my first two years were not really good, but hopefully the last two will make up for them. I would also be interested in playing football for them, I have been contacted by div.2 colleges, but I really want to go here what are my chances?

You better show picture-proof of your junior year scores.

WUSTL will probably will probably waitlist you unless you show serious interest. Tufts Syndrome.

I don’t think with 5 B’s and 2.5 C’s, he’s going to get Tuft’s syndrome. However you still are a strong match it seems for Wash U. Though if you are getting recruiting offers I’d suggest looking around a bit since your A/I is extremely high.

Remember always to get the name of the school right. :P

Considering he has a valid excuse for those grades and has a perfect junior year and is a possibly recruited athlete and is flutent in 5 languages and has decent ECs, I wouldn’t be surprised. WUSTL is really strange about admissions and showing interest.

By the way, finances are pretty important at WUSTL as well. They are not need blind. If you need a ton of money in finaid, it works against you a bit.

Tldr tldr tldr

They’re notorious about yield protection. If you’re sure you want to go there, apply early decision. My friend was in this situation:
He had good grades in similar classes to yours as a freshie. He moved in sophomore year and was in stupid classes because his new counselor didn’t put him in classes comparable to those he was taking in NY. As a result his GPA skyrocketed but his course-load was WAY too easy. He got a SAT of 2280 and was recruited for tennis and he applied ED. He’s going there this fall for premed.
