My school basically screwed up my rank. I had to take Honors Spanish 4 my junior year while other students took AP Physics in that place. Now I am in AP Physics, but they had one more AP than me last year. Also, during my freshman year I had a study hall so a couple of students were able to go ahead of me at that time too.

NYU, Villanova and GW you have a good chance for. Cornell and GT you have a chance at, depending on which school you apply to [for both]. Your AP scores are a bit low for someone who has a 4.0 GPA - it seems to downplay your GPA.

This is kind of a late reply but I think you have a good shot at all of those. Especially with a good essay.

One thing that stands out though is the absence of an SAT score. You are in a region where almost everyone takes the SAT. I would imagine that if you are not sending a score they will infer that you didn’t do well on the test. How bad was it?

What I may say may offend you. I apologize beforehand.

I think being hispanic will greatly increase your chance of getting into cornell and many Ivy league schools including upenn. There are a handful of hispanics applying to the ivy leagues every year. If you look at the percentage of hispanics at Cornell and percentage of hispanics in the US you will find that they are underrepresented at Cornell and most institutions.

If i were you I would apply to all ivy league colleges. In the 70s some of my relatives (asians) got into top colleges because of being underrepresented. Asians/Asian Americans are dime a dozen nowadays.
