Hook- Legacy (brother is a current student)

Many thanks

Would have been better just to list UW GPA for each year, W is meaningless.

Anyways, since you have an upward trend, ED, Ecs and legacy i feel like you have a pretty good chance of getting in.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I am unsure what my UW GPA is.

If your crew team is so good and you are the “MVR” are you recruitable/have you talked to the coach? Either way you look like a very good candidate.

bump!!!

You have a great shot. I’d put Dartmouth in the Low reach / High match category for you. With the legacy, great test scores, and various EC’s you seem like a very competitive candidate.

Chance back?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1577771-i-will-chance-back-chance-me-top-tier-schools.html

Good academics, decent ECs, and a major hook. I would say Dartmouth is a high match/low reach.

chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1574644-please-chance-my-ed-ea-will-chance-back.html

Though Dartmouth has gotten especially more difficult in the past years, I think if the academic advisor said your brother will count as legacy, that should really help. With overall solid stats I think it’s probably a high match.

Chance me back please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1578204-williams-ed.html

It is at the best a high match. Good luck! Please get me back.

Agree with everyone else: you’ve got a solid chance for an Ivy League school!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1578227-international-relations-yale-princeton-brown-johns-hopkins-tufts-georgetown.html#post16584070

You look pretty good. Gpa is obviously on the low side but your extracurriculars are pretty damn impressive. I can tell jist by reading this that youre pretty good at writing so your essays probably good. I would say low reach only because it’s an Ivy and admission is tough for everyone.
