<p>Letter of Recs from: My physics teacher who has his doctorate in engineering and My English teacher who is an author. </p>

<p>I have been an avid debater for 4 years. I am a debate captain, have lettered in debate for 3 years, took 3rd place in State Championship, competed nationally (UC-Berkeley), took 5th place at National Qualifications, and 1st place at several local tournaments.</p>

<p>I tutor kids in math over the summer, and own a professional car detailing business with 2 of my friends. I also volunteer for the Colorado Climate Center and measure and report Denver precipitation levels. Also I am fluent in 4 languages and my essay is about my experiences with poverty in India (where I am from)</p>

<p>I got bad grades freshman year due to family problems and my counselor is writing a note about that and I will address it in my personal essay.</p>

<p>I want to be an environmental engineer and University of Colorado at Boulder. Their guaranteed admission for engineering school is a weighted 3.8 and a 27 on ACT english and 30 on ACT math. Can you please chance me for direct acceptance to their engineering college? Also I am pretty set on this school, so would you recommend Early Action or Regular Decision? The year I apply is the first year they use the common application as well. Thanks a lot!</p>

<p>You have some very nice qualifications. And an upward swing is great trend. </p>

<p>Are you applying to all of CO state schools (CU, CSU, Mines)? They have good programs and reasonable (relatively speaking) costs. I think they all have rolling admissions.</p>

<p>I will be applying to all 3! But my top choice is Boulder! Do you think, I have a chance for their engineering school if I apply EA?</p>
