chanced everyone back
anyone else? :)

Out of curiosity, how did you study for SAT Writing. Your score jumped hugely.

all i did was practice

Pratice what? Like from old tests or prep books or what?

thanks for jacking my thread… from jsut the collegeboard book, thats it

chances anyone?

Like everyone else said…ivies are a reach for everyone…but you seem like a strong candidate . Btw, please chance back on my thread :)

I don’t think you have a very good chance at the Ivies, just because you’re from an international pool where the competition is incredibly, incredibly brutal. Your test scores will look bad compared to the 10000 other students with 2200 -2400 scores (with a lot of them scoring on the high end). The last four schools on your list I think you have a much better shot at

A lot of the Ivies (I know Yale for sure) require you to send ALL your SATs OR ALL your ACTs. IE, that combination above wouldn’t work.

Out of the schools I have listed, only Yale and Columbia require you to do that^

if you got deferred at penn ed, i would say the rest of the schools are reaches and wustl is a low reach. good luck though!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/837007-chance-me-please-ill-chance-back.html

Ivies are a reach for everyone, but you already know that. I wouldn’t take the deferral at U Penn too seriously because you honestly never know what the admissions officers are thinking. I think the rest of your colleges are in the bag though! Rank and SAT II’s are excellent. Good Luck!

I don’t know much about the last few, sorry. But your SAT scores are pretty low for the ivies.

Why did you apply to almost all of the Ivies?
