While not accuate, there is something reassuring in making a chance thread, is there not? Even though I feel rather dirty doing so, my anxiety has reached a level where the post new thread button seems so tempting...anyways, here we go</p>

<p>Ranking and achievements are looking good. Test scores are fine too (yeah try to raise the subject ones). Volunteering seems a bit weak though so if you have timr during the summer try to do more.U penn and washington are reaches, georgetown hhigh match. The rest I think you will be okay.

<p>good test scores, class schedule (i’m in IB too, yay!), and awards. as mentioned before, volunteering is lacking a bit. maybe focus on that this summer or over the next few months. other than that i think you’re good for most of the schools you’ve listed</p>

<p>Chicago is low reach but penn and wash u are reach???
Chicago admit rate was 8.8% last year and it might be lower this year.</p>

<li>Chicago sends out a ridiculous amount of spam mail to unqualified applicants.</li>
<li>WashU rejects overqualified applicants because it thinks they won’t attend, so being a highly qualified applicant there actually makes it harder to get in.</li>
</ol>

<p>Awk.</p>

<p>And IMO you shouldn’t bother retaking the Subject Tests. I got in to Georgetown with lower scores (though US was actually the same exact score!). It’s more worthwhile to take new tests, but even better to just not take any.</p>

<p>But my chem score puts me in the 39th percentile. I know my score isn’t the worst, but if I can do better, why not? And as I am sure you know, GU strongly advises one to submit three subject tests. What would be the consequences of submitting only 2?</p>

<p>I think for the higher range top20 schools like Duke, Vanderbilt, Stanford, etc, it might be a good idea to get your SAT Subject scores, like you said, up to 700+. Other than that, I think you have as good a chance as anyone else, you are competitive :)</p>
