I've already been accepted to Pitt honors college, Michigan State honors college, and Boston College honors program. I'm just getting nervous about my other 4 schools.

My remaining schools are
UVA
UNC Chapel Hill
Vanderbilt
William and Mary

I applied as an elementary education major. EA at UVa and UNC, RD at Vanderbilt and W&M.

I have a 34 ACT and 2200 SAT, National Merit Scholar commended.

I'm white and attend a top public school in Pennsylvania; we don't have class rank. I have a 3.93 unweighted GPA (I got 1 B in APUSH and 2 B's in honors precalculus) and a 4.68 weighted. I've taken 6 APs, 2 IB's, and 12 honors.

I have over 150 volunteer hours from teaching CCD and doing volunteer work with my youth group. I've been on the lacrosse team (3 years varsity), winter track team (4 years varsity), and in the marching band since freshman year. This year I was one of the marching band's drum majors. I'm also president of German club, in a German exchange group, in NHS, and a girl scout. I'm also part of a community service club that will be traveling to the Dominican Republic in 2 weeks to do outreach work.

I really like all of my essays. My letters of rec should also be strong.
So what do you think my chances of getting accepted at these schools are?

It’s a little hard to tell. For example, you would be an instate shoo-in @ UNC, but they only take 20% of their class from out of state, so your stats may or may not cut it.

As is, I think you stand a good shot at all, except Vandy

You’ll definitely get into UVA. Their mid 50% range for SAT is like a 2000. Plus your ACT is stellar. as long as you have good essays and recomendations i dont see why you wouldnt get into UVA or William and Mary. I dont know much about the other schools though. Good luck!

You seem like the caliber that William and Mary, UVA, and UNC would accept OOS and they only take the best from OOS. I know William and Mary is trying to enroll more in state students and accepted around 40% of this year’s incoming class ED but you have a lot going for you and should get in! You should be fine with UNC (even with their 18% rule), and you should get into UVA as well. You may get deferred from UVA EA because you aren’t from VA but you should definitely get in RD.

Vandy is a reach simply because Vandy is a reach for everyone
