Avid 10
Ap- world history, statistics, us history, chemistry, calculus ab, environmental science, government, economics
Volunteering hours-700+
Cashier at fast food restaurant for 6 months
Cashier at donut shop for 2years
Paid tutor for cello lessons
Leadership intern at a local stem camp

I am applying through Early Decision to Northwestern for it is my #1 school!
But I am extremely worried because my ACT is very low… Below 25% of admitted students :confused:
But i think i have solid extra curricular activities.
What are my chances for Northwestern???

its still going to be a low reach ED because ACT is on the lower side, everything else is fine

ACT is too low to be accepted ED at NW

Does anyone know what the average ACT/SAT score is to get into Northwestern through ED?
Since I have not been able to get a score better than a 30, I will be trying out SAT in november

^ I would guess 33-34 for ED. Its a reach for you, but good luck

ACT average is probably 33-34. Aim for a 2200+ on the SAT (around a 33 on ACT). It’s a big jump, (your SAT score equivalent to a 30 on the ACT would be a 2000) though. It might to be too much to improve in too little time.
