<p>Hi everyone!
i am going to be a junior after this summer
i am reall desperate for getting into nyu stern and major in finance
here is some info of mine</p>

<p>high school: a average public high school</p>

<p>background: from china, came to ny 2 years ago, divorced family, have 2 half-sister from both my mom and my dad's side</p>

<p>grades:sat 2100(math: 750 verbal: 650 writing: 700)
gpa uw: 3.8
assuming i will have already taken 5 ap(get score 5 on four of them) and 4 honor classes by the time i graduate</p>

<p>ECs:
cooking club,
math club,
national honor society
nurse assistant
accountant assistant
cultural exchange group
light and love home(non-profit organization)
immigration rally
councilor assisitant
marathon for charity
may join more the following 2 years</p>

<p>what do you think my chance is for nyu stern? i know this resume is not that good but i really really want to get into stern!! please help me!! thank you</p>

<p>Take your SAT again. Take the Math subject test and go for a high score. Make sure you show leadership and initiative in your activities; don’t just be a club member. And apply early decision.</p>

<p>Raise your GPA and test scores and your EC’s seem to be fine. Make close connections with some teachers and your counselor so they will write a great rec for you. </p>
