Please Chance Me for The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M

Hey guys, this is my first post here. I was wondering what my chances are for being admitted into The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M. I live in Texas.

I am currently a Junior going into second semester at a highly competitive high school in Texas. I'm not really sure what major I would like to go into, but I'd like to have my primary majors to be chanced for as 1) Petroleum Engineering 2) Computer Science and 3) Business (finance maybe? I don't know the different majors inside business)

Test Scores ---
ACT: 28 Composite. 25 English 29 Mathematics 33 Reading 23 Science Combined English/Writing 26 (essay 10/12).
SAT: 1850. 570 Reading 670 Math 610 Writing.
I have only taken each test once, and I did not study/prepare for them at all, I just wanted to take each once early for a baseline.
Junior Year PSAT: 202. 72 Critical Reading 69 Mathematics 61 Writing Skills.

GPA --- (I'm not exactly sure what the weighted/unweighted GPAs mean, so I'm sorry if this is not the correct format)
5 Point GPA - 5.0833
4 Point GPA - 3.833
I got a mock transcript at the beginning of the year, and that's what it reads for the GPA section.
Rank: 39/634. I got a 5.5 My first semester of junior year, so I'm expecting this to rise. 6.15%.

Extracurriculars ---
Football (3 years, 1 year on Varsity so far). 6A High School
Track and Field (2 years sophomore and junior year, threw the shot put and discus both years)
Baseball (1 year - freshman)
Wrestling (1 year - sophomore)
Key Club (1 year, began first semester junior year)
Best Buddies (1 year, peer buddy member. Club where you are a "best friend" of a child with special needs, and hang out with them)
Community Service - Probably around 40-50 hours. A lot comes from things I did with my football teams, other with my family handing out food/blankets to the homeless, reading to kids who cannot read, etc.
Mission Trip Freshman and Sophomore year, involved with my local church where some of my community service comes from.
Awards(? - do not know if these matter)
Honor Roll all 3 years. Only on level class taken in high school was Spanish 3 and football.
First Team All District for football.
Academic All District Honor Roll for football.
Award for having the highest GPA/Weightlifting/Running. Kind of a combined composite score of athletic ability and grades combined. I am the only one to receive it in 20 years).
Homecoming Court Nominee and Finalist.

Classes - Been in all pre/ap honors classes since Freshman year (except Freshman Spanish 3 and Football for 3 years, which I pass/failed).
This year I am taking AP Statistics (100), AP US History (96), and AP English 3 (87).
Only taken one AP test, as my school only offered the ability to take one AP class sophomore year and that was AP World History which I received a 4.

My primary school that I want to go to is The University of Texas at Austin. My father went to UT's school of business (was not called McCombs when he went) and my mother also went to the UT, both for all four years.

Please chance me! I really appreciate any feedback given, and if I posted something I should not have or accidentally left something off, please let me know! Thank you for anyone who can provide some insight into my chances at getting admitted, it is all very much so appreciated!!

Since youre in Texas, you should be automatically admitted to both institutions based on your class rank. Congrats

Looks pretty good!! I am confident that you’ll be accepted to Texas A&M and probably UT. The problem with UT is that it seems like their admissions are somewhat random sometimes. The business and engineering schools are also very hard to get in to. However, your GPA is very good and your extra curricular activities are excellent. In my opinion, you should get in but you never know! Good luck!

Hang on to that 6.5% and you will be in to both. The question will be what major you can get. Your ECs are good; write some good essays and see what happens.
