Please chance me for these schools!

I am a Latin-American Junior. My parents do not make a lot of money. By the end of this semester, I should have an 85% GPA. I plan on getting approximately a 600 on each SAT section. I take the only AP Class offered to me, AP US History, didn't do well in AP Exam, probably got a 2 or 3. I took English 101 with CollegeNow and scored an A in the class. I am involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Upward Bound program at Columbia University, and I have over 100 hours of Volunteer work at the hospital since February 09 through Present. I also participated in a Student Empowerment conference where I did a presentation on Political Activism. I am a Boy Scout, but I am First Class and wont make Eagle Scout by the time I apply to colleges. This summer, I will be part of an American Studies Program at Columbia, where I will take a Philosophy class and SAT Prep.

I know its a reach, but I have a long history with Columbia, my mom has worked there since I was 3, I live nearby, I used to play and visit the campus a lot as I grew up, I am involved in an Upward Bound Program there where I live on campus during the summer. I can write an outstanding essay for Columbia.

So please chance me for these! Thank you!

I’d say Columbia is a reach but based on your involvement with it, I can’t really venture a guess.

I’d say your into the rest.

For Columbia it depends on how well your hook works.
For the others, I’d say no to Stony Brook, BU, BC and Northeastern.
Yes to the others.

Ehh. I agree with the others about Columbia - who knows? It’s a toss up. But I think you’ll fare well at the majority of the other schools - BC will probably be the hardest out of all of them, but I think you have a shot at BU/Northeastern as well as the SUNY/CUNY schools.
