I'm looking to go into premed or law. What are my chances for the Ivies and other highly selective schools like Hopkins, Georgetown, and Duke?

Thanks for reading! :)

Holy **** awesome grades. Tons of good **** you are doing to.

I am not really sure, but I would say it depends on your SAT scores. Duke shouldn’t be a prob for you, not sure about the other two.

To put it in perspective, I have 1600 SAT’s 3.2 GPA so, I am going for Uconn, NY poly or drexel. (All stretches pretty much, but I could probs get into uconn)

Thanks. Bump!!

Duke is actually the largest reach you have on there… But it looks like you’re on the right track.

Georgetown: High match/low reach
Hopkins: Low reach
Duke: reach

Higher reach than ivies?!

Not for all of the ivies. Some, yes.

Cornell: low reach
Dartmouth: low reach
Brown: reach
Columbia: reach
UPenn: reach
Yale: high reach
Harvard: high reach
Princeton: high reach

Don’t be too terribly discouraged about applying to Ivy Leagues, though. They’re reaches for everyone, and the possibility is certainly open to you. You look like you would be a competitive candidate for most of them.

Bump? Please.

I forgot some stats. I also was named All Area and All County for swimming. I also serve as a Wikipedia administrator and research and write articles for Wikipedia in my spare time (see [Wikipedia:Administrators - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Wikipedia:Administrators - Wikipedia)).

Georgetown: high match
Cornell: high match
Hopkins: high match
Dartmouth: low reach
Duke: low reach
UPenn: low reach
Brown: reach
Columbia: reach
Yale: reach
Harvard: reach
Princeton: reach

Make sure to apply to some safeties too

Thanks to all of you! This was more helpful than everyone claims Chance threads are. I’ll take into account your opinions.
