It is pretty obvious that my grades are weak as they don’t match the average gpa listed on the Santa Cruz website. However I have taken a fairly rigorous course load and I have tried my best to take as many Honors and AP’s that are offered at our school. Santa Cruz is my first choice for instate and I am interested to see what you all have to say. Thanks for the read!

Even though your GPA is a little low, your test scores are ok and your EC’s are great. Have you tried taking the ACT? Y I think you have a chance.

@takeitallin No, I am absolutely terrible at math and science. I have considered retaking the SAT, but at this point I am really just focusing on getting my college applications out. Thank you for responding to my post! :smiley:

It could go either way.

I think you have a decent chance because of your SAT score and your EC. You should also apply to a safety school like UCR or UCM or the CSU’s.
