I think you’ve got a great future wish I was like you. I’m currently a freshman in high school. Can u give me advice on how to start a non profit organization

-find something that you are truly passionate about… the cause you are trying to help should touch your heart in some way so that what you do makes you happy and it is something that you actually want to pursue.
-find adults who can advice, sponsor, and guide you so that you can present your organization at different events
-register the company through legal zoom or anything like that
-it really isnt that hard… you just need to find the passion and the time for it so it becomes something successful.

i just wanna show wharton that i have something more to offer compared to all the kids who have been raised in ideal conditions, have lived the perfect life where nothing goes wrong, and have 4.0’s and 2300s…

are there any more pieces of advice or chances…

Wharton is a reach for everyone. It’s unpredictable, but you sound like you’re qualified. But you should get into NYU.

thanks!! i just wanna make that initial cut… i hear the wharton like first cuts out applicants based on standardized test scores and gpa… and then from the remaining pool its all about letters of rec, essays, and the holistic individual… they toss out the academic part after that… once i make that initial cut i am 100% sure ill be able to get them to love w/ my essays… thanks!

check this ish out

Wharton is still could be a reach, albeit likely a lower one. It is definitely on par with HYP, but because there are no weakness in your application beside AP scores, I think you can pull it off. I found that Hun School has a 2% HYPMS placement—correct me if this seems inaccurate—, so I believe your schedule is fine.

Stern should be an easy admit for you.

I feel compelled to say don’t not apply to Princeton, though, unless there is something you hold something against the school or just really don’t want to pay for the application.

Chance Me?

Hun School does have that a placement somewhere near that… We dont send kids to HYS though… we send like 6 a year to princeton and a couple to MIT. we have good relation with PU cuz we are in the area…

I dont wanna go to princeton. i have been raised here my whole life, and my gpa is kind of low. It is nice to hear that STERN is an easy admit. i would love to go there if i dont get into wharton.

thanks!

Stern is not an easy admit; it’s just an easy admit compared to Wharton.
