Please Chance me for UT-Austin!

Hey guys,
I am a senior at Harmony Science Academy (pretty competitive charter school) in Austin, Texas and I am applying to the University of Texas at Austin. Please look at my stats and see if I have a chance! =]

-Rank: 3/25 (12%)
-GPA: Unweighted: 3.89 Weighted 4.09
-SAT: 1870 (690 Math, 560 Reading, 620 Writing) Retaking this December though, hoping for at least 750 math and 620 Reading.
Taking both Math 1 and 2 SAT Subject Tests in January (Yes, they accept them)
-27.0 hours in Dual Credit classes at Austin Community college
-EC's are pretty solid, 150 hours about in various places
-Have pretty much went won every year in School and Regional Science Fair, went to State Science fair last year, also awarded at I-SWEEP
-Ethnicity: hispanic and asian.
-All classes AP's

And most important I think, was I attended the UT McCombs ACAP Summer Program which I believe will help me because I was able to meet with many professors and counselors.

I am also apart of a Freshman Research Initiative program where I am researching with a computer science professor at UT Austin and in the past have also done science fair projects with the civil engineering department (I received a recommendation letter from a UT professor as well).

Applied for Natural Sciences: Math and Computer Science top 2 choice majors

Thanks, and I will chance back upon request!

GPA is great, test scores seem a little low, but hopefully you can get them up on this next one. It’s probably too late to sign up for the ACT, but if you can, I would recommend doing that, it is much easier than the SAT (at least for me it was). ECs look good. That sucks that only the top 2 kids are within the top 8 percent

My final judgement is that if you get those test scores up, you will have a great chance, but even if you dont you still have a good shot.

If you don’t make it in with those ECs, I would be surprised.

Yeah haha, thanks for the info. And yeah, i mean 1870 isn’t extremely low, I just need to hit that 700+ on math and 600+ on reading.
