I know my scores/GPA are a little low, but I go to a well-regarded high school, and I think that I will be able to convey in my essays why I deserve admission into the colleges. Please help me feel a little less stressed! I know everyone on cc has a 3.8 and 2150, so please be nice.

you won’t get into most of these schools (with the exception of drexel, james madison, and george mason) unless you raise your sat score atleast into the 1900s. i’m not some snobby super genious cc user i’m just being honest.

You have a good chance of getting into temple, Drexel, George mason, JMU, quinnipiac, and UDel. American and elon probably won’t pose to much trouble either. The other three are low reaches at best.

thanks guys! i’m still going to hope that i’m the anomaly in admissions because GW is my dream school. i really hope that i can significantly raise my SAT score as well.

im in the same boat as you Iloveanimals. I’m looking at the same schools.

I wish you good luck, but it is nice to see someone with lower stats than me attempting at the schools i want to go to. It seems like everybody on this site applying to Gw has a 2100 and a 3.7 GPA.

right now its GW and everything else a notch below in the schools im looking at. But i’ve visited BU AU GW and Northeastern. Live close to drexel so it isn’t an option. Also go to a top public school.

As for your chances. I think if all else fails and you love DC, I could see you getting into American. They love people who are interested. It was a beautiful campus I just think the people are generally weirder/not as real as people at GW.

I visited American and GW at the same time. For some reason, I didn’t really like American. However, I LOVED D.C. so I kept it on my list of schools to apply to.
