Someone please tell me! It's all i've been thinking about lately!
My name is Lydia. I'm a senior and I applied to UCF 4 weeks ago, they got all of my information 2 or 3 weeks ago. Some of the students at my school have been getting acceptance letters so I'm kind of worried about whether I got in or not. I have a 3.67 unweighted GPA and approximately a 4.1 UCF recalculated GPA. I got a 1530 total on the SAT and a 1020 just with reading and math. My whole junior year I took dual enrollment classes in washington state where i used to live. I'm in key club, i play soccer, i've had a part time job, done community service throughout high school, been in national honor society, and have made honor roll in high school as well as honor roll in my community college 2 out of 3 quarters last year.

What do you think my chances are? PLEASE HELP!!

I think you’ll be getting your acceptance letter soon. I think taking Dual enrollment courses counts for a lot and shows you can handle college level courses, especially if you made A’s and B’s. GPA is great and SAT is not too bad. Is writing not your thing because you did well on reading and math…I’ll keep my fingers cross for you.

Cens10, why do you think that it’s a reach? I know my test scores aren’t awfully high but like success2016 said, I do have dual enrollment classes that I did well in. I’m just nervous about it. Thanks for your input! :)

I think you have a good shot. In my essay I wrote that UCF was my top choice and I really think it helped. You may not hear back as soon as you’d like but don’t give up hope!

It REALLY depends on what semester you applied for, summer or fall? Summer has less applicants which made it easier for ppl to get accepted.

If you REALLY want to get accepted I would try for summer. They told me if you don’t get into fall then they will automatically consider you for summer

GOD BLESS you in your application process and I hope you get accepted!
