Why the UW? You’ve got State schools in California that are as good or better than the UW and you wouldn’t have to pay out of state tuition.

Your stats are excellent, by the way, but the UW has been getting harder and harder to get into lately, especially for out of state students, so I feel like I can’t predict if you or anyone else for out of state will get in or not.

if you were in state, those stats would give you high chance. but being oos, it’s harder to guarantee. plus, keep in mind of tuition for oos, chance of getting aid from uw is really really slim.

Well let me tell you, why I am choosing UW–the UC’s in California are extremely, extremely difficult to get into now-a-days, and I want to have a safety. I have heard that UW Seattle has a good premed/med program and it might not be as hard to get into as the UC’s. Thank you all for your very generous answers, so do any of you think I have a chance?

youre pretty much in and uc’s r getting ridiculously harder to get into w/ time. i’m going to uw in the fall, but i didnt get into any uc’s other than riverside and merced
