You’re definitely in to UVA, and Univ. of MD, but I don’t know much about Princeton, Yale, and Johns Hopkins, sorry. You’re an excellent candidate for every school you applied to, though :)

Both your GPA and rank are good. You might want to consider submitting your ACT score in lieu of your SAT score, since a 34 ACT translates to a 2260 SAT, which is 80 points higher than what your actual SAT score is. Like the poster above me said, you have solid chances at all the non-Ivies on your list, but when comparing you to other applicants to Yale and Princeton, there’s nothing in your list of extracurriculars that makes you “stand out”. Plenty of other applicants will be officers of multiple clubs, are members of their schools’ varsity sports teams, and lots of them also have several hundred hours of volunteer work logged. On the other hand, if you could somehow make your essays very creative and unique, that should help your chances a little.

I’m very happy with my Princeton Essay and my Common App essay. I really want to get into Princeton, Yale was more or less to make my mom happy.
Thanks guys:]

Hey! I’m applying to UMd. and JHU too! Wait, except your stats pwn mine, seriously (:

Well, obviously Maryland is a safety, you’ll probably get honors/gemstone and a good amount of scholarship from them. UVa is probably more like a low match just because out of state is fairly ridiculous, though really, you shouldn’t be too concerned. JHU is more of a high match? Yale and Princeton, of course, are impossible to chance but you’re definitely qualified.

UVA: match
Maryland: match
Princeton and Yale: reach, but they are for everyone.
John Hopkins: ?

You have really good stats and your ECs are great. Your health care volunteering shows a strong interest/experience and will help your chances at the schools.
