Please chance me?

Okay, I'm just fifteen here and I will have a 3.8 GPA for my freshman year. I'm going into 10th grade. I already know my schedule for next year, and from that, I have a pretty good guess at what it's going to look like for 11th, and 12th. I want to be a veterinarian, so for my first four years I plan on going into biochemistry or perhaps another related field (suggestions?) to prepare me for the Veterinary curricula.

Sophomore year:
Honors: Chem, Spanish, World Hist., English, Algebra II w/ trig ... nearly all except the elective (3D art) and the religious class
GPA: (if I get straight As -- 4.9)

Junior year:
APs: Spanish, Euro. Hist., Art History (all the rest are honors except for the religious class)
GPA: (5.0)

Senior year:
APs: Spanish, Gvt. and Politics, English, Art History, Calculus (all the rest are honors, again, except for the religious class. .. I can't get honors for that)
GPA: (5.0)

ECs (outside school): Veterinary hospital, ASPCA, Clearwater Marine Aquarium: Junior educators (I teach 9 year olds about marine science), Diver for the CMA, Brown Pre-College, Provide prom dresses for those that can't afford them, steady jobs at Barnes & Noble and a waitress at First Watch, and perhaps RSI (MIT.)

ECs (in school): NHS, Key club, Future Veterinarians of America (founder), Book club (founder), NSHS, NAHS, Soccer (3 years), Swimming (3 years), Volleyball (2 years), Tennis (3 years), Student Government - President, Environmental club.

National merit finalist and AP Scholar w/ distinction

..So...Does it sound like someone that could be competitive for Dartmouth, Salem State, UVM, UConn, or Middlebury? Thank you .. I'll chance back! :)

Chance for…?

Sorry not to belittle you but you’re a freshmen. It’s awesome that you have a lot of aspirations but your grades are always going to change not to mention your SAT scores. Come back in two years and then try to get a more accurate evaluation from other people on CC.

kabayou is right, the only thing you’ve actually accomplished is what you tell us about in the first paragraph. You haven’t actually done any of the other things in your post. Come back after sophomore year. Spend the summer between sophomore and junior year prepping for the PSAT and then we can give you a better guess. If you do as well as you think you will I suspect your college list will change dramatically over the next couple of years.

Yeah, that’s true. I change my list every other week, lol. I just … I want to get into these schools so badly and I’m trying everything I can! This summer I’m volunteering at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. But I’m going to try so unbelievably hard to follow that through. Sorry if I look a bit crazy, … but I am, when it comes to school work!! Thanks for your time guys. :+)
